About

Ciao! I like to describe myself as a  made in Italy, “exported” to Barcelona, travel style guide.

How did I get here? I was a typical brand manager, working in the corporate world and having fun trying to mediate between super creative marketing peeps and big company managers. And the years rolled on… One rainy day, I stumbled across a poem that I had been keeping with me since college. I was shaken to my core.

He who becomes the slave of habit,
who follow the same routes every day,
who never changes pace,
who does not risk and change the color of  his clothes,
who does not speak and does not experience,
die slowly […]
He or she who does not turn things topsy-turvy,
who is unhappy at work,
who does not risk certainty for uncertainty,
to thus follow a dream,
those who not forego sound advice at least once in their lives,
die slowly […]
He who does not travel, who does not read,
who does not listen to music,
who does not find grace in himself,
she who does not find grace in herself,
die slowly […]

cit. Martha Medeiros

All of a sudden, I realized that I had become that person that I didn’t want to be. Remember that time when you promise, together with your best friend: I’ll never, ever be that way? Stuck in my everyday routine, far away from my dreams and from the poetry, I decided to change everything. I was terrified, but amazed by my family, boyfriend and colleagues’ help and deep understanding. I found my way out to follow my dreams. I am – still – incredibly thankful to all those who believed in this crazy new chapter of my life!

Let’s try and avoid death in small doses,
remanding oneself that being alive requires an effort far greater than the simple fact of breathing.
Only a burning patience will lead to the attainment of a splendid happiness.

So here I am. A peculiar planet. I come from Umbria, the poor’s man Tuscany. I’m in love with the sunset in Passignano just as much as NYC lights. Milan opened my mind and my heart to fashion, art and design.  India opened me up completely with a real life-changing experience.  I don’t take myself too seriously: irony is the basis for everything.  I’m always on the go, looking for what makes a place special – the WOW! experiences.  I experiment ways to get local, to push my boundaries out of the routine. I’m absolutely sure that my lust for creativity and inner development stem from that!

What am I looking for? Diversity, creativity in every form. Innovation. People that make me look things differently. I want to see, listen and learn new things. I want to meet WOW! people.  Ping me if you like, invite me to discover your city. Tell me about what you do and your world!
